Hello, it's me-Abby. I'm guest blogging again.
You know, spring time in Portland is beautiful. I don't think there's a street I pass that isn't full of blossoming trees or tulip lined yards. We've been lucky this year, we've enjoyed quite a few days of sun.
There's nothing more I like doing on a sunny day than donning a light, summery frock. But when days like today pop up, those gloomy gray cold days that make Portland stay so green, I find it hard to muster up the courage to get dressed up.
But you know what I learned? Kara taught me to just layer on up. That's right, I said it. Throw on a pair of pants or leggings, a frock and maybe another dress right over the top. Let me tell you, it works. I may look like a crazy bag lady to some, but I love mixing up layers of patterns and textures. Think it's too early for that strapless dress? Just throw it on over some thick tights and pull a sweater over the top. I swear you'll look great.
