When Cythina from Thread Follower sent us pictures of her new hand-stitching projects we couldn't believe our eyes! 

They were just too adorable! 

 

 

 

Each kit comes with wool and rayon felt, wool batting, embroidery thread and needle, instructions and a pattern.  The best part of it all is that the materials are eco-friendly. 

 

Learning to sew could not be any cuter.

things we love: giddy giddy

We have been fans of Giddy Giddy's darling hand-made hair clips for some time.  They come in sizes for babies and toddlers.  We love the whimsical subjects that they make into hair clip form.

And with so many to chose from, you're sure to acquire quite the collection.  Giddy Giddy has thought of an adorable way to keep your clips neat and tidy, and display them.

The ribbons can hold about 14 clips.

 

And for the older girls they have started making purses.

Don't forget!  The Alberta Street Fair is happening this Saturday! 

Grasshopper is participating in the children's parade Saturday morning.  If you'd like to walk with us, meet at the shop at 10:30 AM, and then we'll walk over the start of the parade (15th and Alberta).

 

Sweet shopgirl Shannon has been hard at work decorating our "float"!

 

 

It's sure to be a fun time!
